A Budapesti Rendőr-főkapitányság a lezárt nyomozástól elkülönítve önálló büntetőeljárásban vizsgálja, hogy a Viking Idun személyzetének részéről felmerül-e a segítségnyújtás elmulasztása bűncselekmény.
